The last big blackout on the London Underground was back in 2003.

The problem is that London Underground has been forced to take power from the National Grid. This was done during the Thatcher government era of dispare here in UK.

Until then, London Underground generated it's own power since late Victorian times. Think we should get back to that.

Are you prepared for the next blackout? You should be.

We now keep a supply of 100 candles in our house. We also have a camping stove, which means we are completely independant of the power supply companies for light and hot food.

Be prepared.
