I'm flying to Jersey from Gatwick. Should I check in 2 or 3 hours before my flight?

A bit confused as Jersey is not UK, but a bit different from other European countries. Am inclined to think of it as flying to Europe, which means checking in earlier... Any advice? Thank you!

1 hour before is fine.

Jersey IS part of the United Kingdom and domestic flights can check-in upto 20 minutes before departure, althought I would advice checking in 1 hour before.

2 hours should be enough time for your flight to Jersey.

The Channel Islands and Isle of Man are considered as domestic flights from the UK so 3 hours is excessive. Check the website of the airline you are flying with.

Since a flight from Jersey to Gatwick is considered a domestic flight, you don't need to check in any earlier than 2 hours before you are due to depart.
