The first step before you can even apply for a GSM visa is to obtain a positive skills assessment from the ACS.

According to their current guidelines, for a positive migration skills assessment, they will demand 4 years of professional level experience in addition to your degree/s.
The guidelines state:
"2.2.8. Applicants in Group A must have at least four (4) equivalent years of full-time relevant ICT experience at professional level prior to the date of their application for Pre Application Skills Assessment (PASA)."

You should also be aware that Computing Professional - Computer Systems Auditor 2231-21 is not on the CSL or even the MODL and under current visa processing priorities you would have a lengthy wait for a visa (3+ years) after you lodge your application. Priorities will certainly change over the next few years, but it's reasonable to assume that Systems Auditor will continue to be considered a lower priority than some other specialties.
