Help im locked out of apartment?

Question

I moved into this apartment on the 23 of october and paid for a gate key and the manager still dont have a key?
I cannot move my furniture etc. because i cannot get inside the drive in gate she made me pay for it before i could move in and gave me a key for the walk in gate but that key didn't work i was locked out. can i get reimbursed or some kind of action for the inconvenience? shouldn't she be required to leave the access gate open?
I have had to pay for a motel several times due to not being able to access my apartment. what can i do?

Front her with the problem and find a solution together

if you can access your apartment but don't have your furniture in or any type of major furniture eg bed or fridge ect. you are allowed a reduce discount on the property's rent, if it has not been your fault that you have not been allowed to put your stuff in. also if you are in the UK you are allowed discount on the council tax as well.

get a snap on pry bar and pop the locks, put your own locks on the doors, and reverse the situation on the landlord!!!
