NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400? Is this card good?

Hello. I am aiming to buy a PC for Christmas that will run my games such as The Sims 2, its expansions + The Sims 3. I am not such an experienced buyer when it comes to computers so I could do with the help. I can buy anything up to £400 but £350 is my optimum price.

I decided to go for a refurbished computer, http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/HP-ET115AV-CTO-xw4400-Workstation-Desktop-Computer/4050990/product.html?cid=133635, but it has a graphics card I have never heard of: Nvidia Quadro FX 1400.

Help please?

yes, its a good card
some Quadro FX cards cost more than $4,000.00 !

Quadro cards are for pro video editing and other applicatins, more demanding than games..
but....
the 1400 is very old and has only 128.mb ram
new cards have 1-2 GB (2000 mb) of ram

the Quadro is meant more for graphics applications used by companies and such, not gaming. Gaming cards have higher memory bandwidth, faster shaders, stufff like that (technical stuff :P) so they are better and doing real time processes, which is what a game needs

For gaming and such, what you are looking for is either nvidia geforce, or ATi HD series, either of those are more for gaming and home use
