Is my dog pregnant????????????

right i have a jack russel x **** tzu and about 29 days ago my friend came over with his jack russel anyway she was in season at the time but i didnt know and my next door neighbours said that they were mating and got stuck together twice for about half an hour to 40 mins at a time and recently shes got a tiny bit fatter but not alot and her tummy is really quite hard rather than soft i did not want her to have pups and had already booked her in to get spade she has had a phantom pregnancy when younger could it be another please help.

You need to take her to the vet who will be able to tell if she is pregnant or not. Chances are she is from what you have said.
If you have an female dog that is not neutered you have to be more alert so this sort of thing doesn't happen in the future.

chances are if she accepted him, and they tied twice (shame on you) she is pregnant. Have you taken her to the vet? He can tell you. He can xray her at about day 49 or later and see pups. Other than that, you better get educated! Having pups is not always easy.

Just take her in this week and have her spayed.
There is no reason to cancel your appoinment.

You can ask the vet after the surgery if she was pregnant. Then you will have your answer.

By now her nipples will have become raised and will have turned deeper pink in colour. This is a good sign that she is pregnant.
