How long does it take to do a credit check after ordering a contract phone online?

Please keep in mind that getting a cell phone contract does nothing for your credit rating.
Some people think that having cell phone has any effect - it doesn't.
They check your reports, of course, but don't report monthly.
It's not a loan, its just a contract.

Depends on who you getting your phone thru,

I'm guessing you're talking about a wireless plan with one of the big national wireless providers,

If you filled out an online credit application, Then your credit was pulled as soon as you hit the SUBMIT button, It would've taken no more than a couple minutes for the automated system to evaluate your credit ...

it will usually take 48 hours, but it might be longer over a weekend, so probably tuesday?
