hey :)
okay , so first , the spots.
everyone is probably going to recommend some face wash or spot treatment , which may work , but probably arent that good for your skin. the only thing that works for me getting lots of vitamins - from tablets or fruit and veg, god hygiene - washing my face twice a day, only touching my face with clean hands, keeping dirty hair off my face , LOTS of water, enough sleep for my age, finding the right products for my skin type and not using too much. to find the right products find your skin type, yours if acne prone :) if you live in the uk i recommend amie, the usa - noxzema !
howvere none of these brands do a spot treatment , so here is what I use - Sudocrem ! Yep, it really works because it is antibacterial and healing it even says on the pot you can use it for spots - so cheap and easily available ! just smooth a thinish layer on the affected area every night and wash it off in the morning ! To remove the redness of spots try a calming water spray like from Avene or evian or some tea tree or aloe vera oil or gel .
for freckles there isnt much you can do really - try and find a fading cream but most of them are for stretch marks or veins. i find what works is concealer. i know you didnt want anyone to recommend makeup , but its really the only way, it dioes work and if you get a mineral concleaer they wont clog up your skin and there are some quite cheap ones around.
good luck !
