We are travelling to Venezuela in December for a month. I am pregnant and my son is 3 years old?

has anyone travelled there recently, either with kids or pregnant? does anyone know about the situation regarding vaccinations and malaria etc? Is it safe at the moment? has anyone travelled with TAP Portugal airlines long haul? Also any tips about the best places to go would be greatly appreciated! thank you! Well be going for a month.

Ooh hmm...well, I do know that currently there is a very high risk of majorly infectious diseases. There are both food/waterborne and vector-borne diseases. The food/waterborne disease is bacterial diarrhea and the vector-borne diseases are dengue fever and malaria. I am not sure about which vaccinations you should get but you are going to want to consult your doctor. Be very careful since you are traveling pregnant and with a little one.

I have heard that Angel falls and Canaima National Park are both very beautiful.

I would not take a 3 year old there, nor put an unborn baby at risk.
