Yes. I am from NY, but I studied there for 5 months in Córdoba, which is toward the center of the country. Córdoba, especially, is a great place for students, and the experiences that you will have there, watching a Tango show, enjoying the wine and the meat! It's so nice, and I would recommend going there as soon as you can.

Yes, like many others. It is the leaders and some of the people who let these places down with their nationalist ideals and their desire for power.

It depends for what, no? For investing, NO. For travelling, YES. For living....mmmm.

Depends of the definition of "good country",
Beautiful places, good meat, very good wines, the best beer (quilmes), nice people, very beautiful women, bad economy, corruption in the government and police, low general income, big poverty level, etc
There are good things and bad things in all places.
