Which Spanish beaches are the most breathtakingly beautiful?

Question

I'm thinking white powdery sand, clear blue ocean, palm trees and lots of sunshine. Where in Spain could I find this ideal ocean beach?

If you are not one of those sad people who look down on the place, then the beaches at Benidorm are very good, but even better is the one at Magaluf on Mallorca and sounds more like your ideal.

I would say that Ibiza and Formentera have the best beaches of Spain.
You will find white powdery sand, crystal clear turquoise and blue water, palm and pine trees. There are even beaches where you can go for a massage and some wonderful chiringuitos playing chill-out music.
Don't be put off by the normal "clubber vomiting and pulling moonies" image that Ibiza has. This is only in San Antonio and the clubbers rarely go anywhere outside of this area.

The beach at Mazagon in Huelva province, close to the Doñana National Park. 37 kilometres of golden sand, Most of the beach is in undeveloped areas and is exquisite.

Personally I have a penchant for the many beaches between Denia and Gandia at the very Northern tip of the Costa Blanca - they are reasonably quiet for most of the year and quite unspoilt by tourism.
That said almost every Spanish Costa can boast dozens of beaches like you describe.
