What is the nightlife in adelaide like?

i was wondering if it is any good? also, im going to uni, but i cant decide between uni of adelaide or flinders? anyone got any tips about either of them?

The nightlife is ok. It's not fantastic but there are many places to go.

As for the universities, I'm in the same position. I'm having difficulty choosing one because they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Adelaide is in the city, which is a huge benefit, as you're surrounded by shops and there's lots of public transport. Whilst Flinders in on a hill. Although there are some shops on campus, you don't have the convenience of the city. Only buses go up there, and the parking is very expensive. However, at Flinders they have an extremely good reputation for research, and their law program is said to be the best in the state. On the other hand Adelaide has the best all round reputation nationally and globally.

Both uni's have sports and clubs but apparently at flinders, because everyone's isolated on the hill, more people know each other and you grow closer with people.

The campus at Flinders is all spread out and it's quite a walk to get form one area to the other, whilst at Adelaide everything is all clumped together.

Anyway, there are some tips about both. I've been playing around with them in my mind for months and still can't decide where to go.

The nightlife is okay in Adelaide, though not so cosmopolitan as what you would see in Melbourne or Sydney.

Both universities are good - it really depends on what you are studying. Still, I prefer Flinders. It's out of the city, not quite as crowded and the view is fantastic. The staff and students tend to be a bit more laid back than at the University of Adelaide.

I like to go to Swish on the Terrace, or The London Tav. Which are both on the same street, on North Tec. Swish is free to get in. And have a fun 90's night.

I hear good things about Flinders for learnging to teach school children and Science. But I hear good things about both for learning medical stuff.
