Flights to New York help...?

Ok well i am taking my girlfriend as a surprise from London to New York from 28th Dec - 5th Jan.

I have booked the hotel and look at the flights everyday.

Once they were 400 pounds, now they are 500 pounds.

I can book them in 2 weeks when my commission comes through.

Do you think they will shoot up even more? or could they stay the same / come down etc?

Just want to put my mind at rest.

thanks.

Christmas/NYE travel tends to cost more + the prices go up as you get closer to the holiday. 500 Pounds for your dates is actually a decent fare. However, you can still get from Heathrow to NY/La Guardia on your dates via Air Canada for 400 Pounds (Travelocity). It does mean changing planes in Toronto both ways.

Check with a real travel agent. In addition to finding more options for you they can probably reserve the flights at the fare you want and you can pay a bit later.
