If you went on the average of 12,000 miles per year then it is quite a bit over, 25k to be exact!
The national average now though is 10,000 per year which would be 50,000 for your car, then it would be 35k over the average!
Depends how much you get the car for though, you could argue the toss that it is quite a bit over and get a good discount.
Personally i'd never get french anyway, I always go for something German or Japanese as they are hugely more reliable.

Servicing scheduals vary from different car makes. Usually it's every 12k but some cars now can be every 20k. Not every service will be a main service, they are every other year. You will have a main service, and then a small service and so on.

its not that bad if its a diesel what you have to remember a diesel engine is 10x more reliable and longer lastin than a petrol despite what anyone says!! but its not extreemly high for a petrol car theese days like theres plenty life left in that car just the value is slightly less than what it should be but not alot less peugeot make a good car esp a diesel i have a pug205 diesel and ive had 106's i love peugeot cars!! hope this helps :)

Yes it is high. But if they were motorway miles and the car has been serviced regularly it should have plenty of life left in it. Oil changes are normally 12,500 miles or annually on this car. If you don't know when it was last serviced, do an oil and filter change asap.
If you use fully synthetic oil it will tend to 'freeze' any further engine wear as it is vastly superior to mineral oil.

It seems to be a lot for a 2006 the average miles done a year is between 10/15000 miles if you don't drive for a living

thats seems like a lot I thinks thats about double the mileage for a car that age. If it's done that much mileage the car will probably need a lot of work
