Sending a letter to the Uk from Guernsey?

Question

Do I have to write united Kingdom on it? also, if its in a bubble wrap brown envelope and contains 2 cd's do I post it in the post box or go to the post office, also do I go to the post office to get my stamp? this sounds stupid but I dont want to chance it...thanks =)

You can put UK on it, if you like. It wouldn't hurt.

You would be advised to go to the Post Office to get it stamped. They will tell you how much you have to pay.

Guernsey is part of the UK so no need to endorse that on the envelope, but go to the p.o. just for the weight.

You would be advised to put the country (England Wales, Scotland N.I. ) as all the mail goes by air, and it will go to Heathrow, unless it`s sorted for say, Scotland.. might make it get there a little quicker if the strike in the UK mainland is not on,on the dat your packet arrives ! .hope this helps

Guernsey will be fine. You need to take it to the Post Office to be weighed and the size checked to get the correct postage.

No, Guernsey is NOT part of the UK.
Just write England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales
