Depends on yer musical taste, hon, but I, personally recommend Matthew Street, 'cos the atmosphere down there's absolutely bloody ELECTRIC- there's no other word which'll do it justice! You've got all yer Sixties and Beatles-themed bars down there, such as Rubber Soul, Lennon's Bar, and, of course, yer famous Cavern Club, which again, I personally recommend- (although, be warned, it gets absolutely chock-a-block and boilin'-bloody-hot down there), but again, the atmosphere down there's electric! Matthew Street also has a range of Seventies and Eighties bars to offer, such as Flares, (in the Seventies catagory), and The Tube and Reflex in the Eighties catagory. The Grapes- (the pub down Matthew Street that our Corneilius has just touched on), was the pub yer Beatles used to drink in before AND after each gig they performed down The Cavern. Flanagan's is also good- a traditional little Irish pub, and a bloody good place to go for the "crack", I do believe it's called over in Ireland- (and NO, 'crack' doesn't mean what I daresay YOU'RE probably gonna think it means, when it's used in that particular sense!) Head down Matthew Street. I promise ya, ya WON'T be disappointed, and ya won't get any **** from any bugger while yer down there, 'cos trust me, luv, they're as good as gold down there! :)
