How to cope with missing someone?

Question

I miss my best friend (who is also my ex, it's a bit complicated) terribly. She is at Art college down in London. I've seen her twice since she left and that was about 3 months ago. Im still in my home town (Edinburgh) and all my other friends have moved away too for university but she is the only one I miss badly. Just now a song that reminded me of her came on and it made me break down and cry. How can I cope with missing her so much?

Can you not save up and go and stay with her for a couple of days ? National express coaches do really cheap deals from edinburgh to london.

Go and see her, your only young once, be reckless x
