WATER MONITOR BEHAVIOR?

Question

Recently just found my last rescue a home after having a nile monitor for 3 years my interest in large lizards has grown ive come to understand alot about these misunderstood animals although i am not a fan of niles and in a good way i was happy to see him go... obviously a monitor is a monitor but i just wanted some info on water monitor behavior... not just something from the internet.. i want to hear some personal experiences from anyone that has had one of these giants (PLEASE DONT TELL ME HOW BIG THEY GET OR HOW MUCH THEY EAT OR WHY I AM STUPID FOR WANTING ONE I AM AN EXPERIENCED KEEPER...TREAT ME LIKE ONE)
