Can someone help me solve this Data Management question? It is in the unit of "Permutations".?

QUESTION: How many numbers greater than 500, 000, 000 can be formed using the digits 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 where no repetitions is allowed.

ANSWER: 1 440

***I don't understand how to get that answer, does anyone have a solution?

yeah, but I think you made a big boo boo.
I think you meant to say 5,000,000 instead of 500,000,000

you have two choices for the first digit, it can be either a 5 or a 6.
you can use any of the remaining 6 digits in any order for the rest of the number or 6! choices.

so 2 * 6! = 2 * 720 = 1440
