Why do i get a blank screen when attempting to enter my BIOS?

The key to load the bios for my motherboard is del which i mash. when it looks like the bios should come up i get a blank screen and my pc restarts (this then repeats the process). i have a ps2 keyboard and i am able to press tab to see my post screen without any problems. my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA P35 DS3L which im quite sure isn't faulty. any suggestions? :)

    Hi there,

You could try removing the CMOS bat from the mother board.
This would reset the CMOS to Default

    unplug computer
    take side casing off
locate the watch battery and remove
    wait 15 sec's and reinsert.
    put case back on
    plug in and try agin

    Hope this helps Taz
