Mondeo mk2 speedo cluster?

can anyone tell me,if i change my speedo unit,will i have to reset the computer or will it do that its self..............

It will not need to be reset but the miles shown will be whatever the new one happens to have on it. You are not obliged by any law to tell anyone this or to change it but there are garages and people that have the software to do it -they are the same ones that sadly "clock" cars.
