How long will it take to walk from the city inn westminster to oxford street?

Im staying at the City Inn Hotel Westminster when i go to London early next year. It's in John Islip Street not far from the London Eye and the Tate Brtain and I was wondering how long it would take to walk to Oxford Street? :)

Its 1.7 milesaccording to Google maps, so depends on how quicky you walk.
