Are there many problems with pirates of the coast of the Seychelles?

The media has a habit of making things seem worse than they are, as someone who's in the Seychelles right now I promise you that there's no problems whatsoever with pirates. I'm sure like any other country in this part of the world, pirates are a problem at sea but in the coastal areas there's no problems. If you're thinking of visiting the Seychelles then I'd thoroughly recommend it, one of my favourite destinations and you really must see them to believe just how beautiful they are.

yes...the Indian Ocean area's are a problem but you'll be ok if you don't go out to sea in a boat!!

Not on the coast, but further out to sea, yes.
