Im an exchange student in the uk. do i need an additional visa to travel to Paris, France for 3 days?

im currently an exchange student in Glasgow, Scotland and booked a flight & hotel to Paris, France.. I currently have a guest student visa.
Do i need an additional Visa for the three days in paris?? if so i heard it takes 14 days, can you pay extra for a faster process?

Are you an US resident?

If you are a US resident on a student/visitors visa (which means you cannot and are not working) than you may travel freely within the European Union without a separate visa.
