Where should we go here in Europe, with a good nightlife?

I asked earlier a question about Prague... Cuz that was our first choice.

But now I thought, why not ask about other location you people could recommend us!

So, basically, we are from Portugal and here it’s normal that in the last year of school the whole class makes a trip somewhere… We go around March-April (just in 2011, but we have already started thinking where to go to know how much Money we will need).

At that time, we will be a group of 17-18-19 year old people.

We want, of course, a place with a great nightlife and the best would be that it has something to do at day... Monuments or so.

Any place you could recommend would help us!

Just one little note: London, Spain, or Germany aren't places we really want, since almost all of us have visited them...

Thanks!

    hihihihih,
I read your question heading and immediately thought of Lisboa as an answer!!! Then I read the rest of your question and realise that you are Portuguese. I lived in Lx for four years!
I am from Dublin and can recommend Dublin for everything except the prices.
I am living in Malta now and think that the area called Paceville (pronounced Patch-e-ville) would be perfect for what you all want for nightlife.
Malta also has a lot to see and do durning the day.
Only problem at the moment is getting here. There are no direct flights from Portugal to Malta. You will need to fly via Frankfurt or Rome / Milan. By the time you are intending on traveling here, some airline may have direct flights available.
    Hope this helps

Eastern Europe is a good choice and these countries aren't expensive. There are many night clubs, cafes, cinemas, bars and so on, what do you want.
You can visit eg. Vienna, the capital of Austria, it's a beautiful metropolis, but the nightlife at the weekends ends about on Saturday midnight, because Austria is a catholic state and everything is closed on Sunday. There is many special museums (not only historical), art galleries, and so on.
Budapest is the capital of Hungary, it's much cheaper as Vienna but has a great and various nightlife. There are also many museums, galleries, cafes big gardens, theme parks and the city has a special atmosphere which is a mixture of modernism and the (post-)communist and post-monarchical era. eg. there is a statue park next to Budapest where you can see the old Soviet statues and at the bank of the River Danube stays the Castle of Buda which was the residence of the Kings of Hungary.

Nice France. The old Town and Cours Saleya is buzzing with bars/restaurants. Good shopping. Monaco on the bus. Cannes on the train.
