Are there any hotels in Cardiff that take bookings on the same night?

Am I able to go to a hotel & book a room for that same night at around 8pm?

If they have rooms available they will sell you one. If your paying with cash make sure you have I.D. The hotel needs some sort of guarentee in case you trash the room. Travelodge can be a bit funny sometimes about taking walk-in bookings. They will sometimes tell you to ring their central reservations centre and book on the phone rather than take you in at the desk. They're weird.
