My school is having their FIRST Senior Trip. We can't go out of United states. Where should we go?

I Attend to a small school in New York Queens, called WJPS (World Journalism Preparatory High School). Our Principal said she doesn't want us to go out of New York, so basically we could only go Upstate...but we are the first seniors to this school, so we have no idea what so ever where to go. Any Suggestions? *Please give me good ideas !

i live near chicago our trip was suppose to be Hawaii but many abcked out and we ended up going to St. Louis

maybe you could talk them into Washington DC

Take the train from NYC to Albany up the Hudson River Valley along the historic Water Line Route of the old New York Central Railroad. It was the first four-track long-distance railroad in the world. What about the Jersey Shore..go to the beach..the boardwalk and it's really not that far from NY. Or if she won't let you leave New York..what about going to Niagara Falls?
