Which is best city to go to on your own?

hi all i 32 and got a free 3 day trip to either nice, madrid and milan,, wondered which u all think is best place to go to for people where there is no trouble and also nicest places on nights out for single guy,
i have been to madrid 2 years ago at xmas and got admit u can have fun there but if want to come home late there no chance of getting taxi late at night if dont speak spanish

Off all three of your choices I would choose Madrid. Milan is OK but it pales in comparison to lots of other Italian cities and there's not much to do there.
I also think you'd have the same problems getting yourself understood in English in France or Italy as you would in Spain.
The other answerer is right in saying that you need to be rich to enjoy the French Riviera whereas in Madrid you can have fun on any budget.
You need to find a hotel next to a trendy going out area like around Chueca or La Latina and walk back to avoid the taxi thing.

Try Milan. I've not been there but I hear it is a nice city with plenty of interest. I have been to Nice, but i don't personally like the French Riviera. I find its atmosphere a bit artificial and you need loads of money to enjoy yourself there.
