Which hotels are located close to the Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa?

Just want to point out that Stellenbosch is not IN Cape Town, its about an hours drive away. Stellenbosch itself has many guesthouses, many of them on wine estates in the surrounding countryside.
Your best option would be to ask the organiser of your seminar about suitable accommodation.

Stellenbosch University is not in the city Cape Town, but rather in the town Stellenbosch which is about 30min to 45min drive from Cape Town depending on traffic.

There aren't really hotels, but the town has a lot of guest houses and they are 4 and 5 star. There are a lot in walking distance from the University, it is an open campus, so you can walk from your guest house to the seminar. Everyone walks around here. Just google 'Stellenbosch guest house' and make sure they are in the town centre or near the university.

Stellenbosch University is very spread out. There is no big, enclosed campus, but faculties occupy buildings in separate parts of Stellenbosch.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
