Visiting NYC soon. Need to know things. Please read detail....x?

I am visiting New York in early November this year. I have a brief idea of what I am going to do, but was just wondering if anybody knew of any hidden gems or anything like that in New York. We are staying at the Wellington Hotel. Where is the best place to eat near there? and also when people come back from New York they always come back with the FBI (or something like that) merchandise, where do you get them from.

Another poster gave you advice about buying counterfeit merchandise. Please don't, it is wrong on many levels. There is the underground economy thing. Then there is that fact that you are stealing from the designers whose work you like. Consider- you do some work. Who should get paid for it? Same with designers. Plus the merchandise is usually pretty crappy anyway. I have a friend in the leather repair business and he sees people come in all the time with these bags that fall apart right away.

You asked about FBI merchandise. There is a large FBI building on the upper east side. It is around 68th street and 3rd ave, but I am not sure exactly where. There could be a shop there that sells such stuff, but I don't really know.
