City Break in Amsterdam?

Question

Looking to go to Amsterdam for 3 nights, where can I get the cheapest deal, want to stay in a 3* hotel, need the cheapest deal possible flying from gatwick.

For a cheaper deal you will be best of getting an hotel just outside of the centre. It's often cheaper to book the flight and hotel seperate when it comes to a trip to Dam. There are two 3 star Best Western hotels that are very good for a reasonable price. Blue Tower Hotel is a good option, it's based at a shopping centre and traveling to the centre will take 6 minutes by bus or car. Remember that the closer you get to the centre the more expensive the hotel will be.

As for flights, Gatwick Amsterdam detours vary from 27 pounds to 80 pounds. It's really a matter of comparing some prices.

Whereabouts are you based? If in the UK, KLM run a number of regular flights to and from various city locations - I think Leeds is the cheapest to fly from. As for hotels, check out Cheap Hotel Chains - they compare all latest online hotel deals for Amsterdam and everywhere.

jolly carleton hotel is amazing.. its right near dam square and rembrant square too... very nice this time of year although jan/feb is better as its snowing :-)
