If British society ever fully embraces euthanasia...?

Will we have to take a long, hard look at the way life insurances work?

For example, what if somebody who was fed up with living took out a huge great life insurance so that their nearest and dearest profited from their death? This at the expense of other policy holders who will probably end up paying higher premiums because of it.

Will we have to agree that those who opt to have their lives terminated will first have to cancel life insurances and the like?

If?

We already have involuntary euthanasia in the NHS.The old and seriously infirm who do not have vocal representatives are subjected to 'The Liverpool Care Pathway'.

Patients are over dosed with sedatives, pronounced comatosed and then have food and water withdrawn.

Political differences notwithstanding, I have to agree with you. I've seen what you're talking about for myself, and it's seriously grim.

What angers me most is that there is never enough to help my fellow Brits but we still apparently have funds enough for foreign health tourists.

Not good, innit
