How much spending money to take to rome for 4 days?

I am taking my girlfriend to Rome for 4 days from 28th Oct - 1st Nov. Our flights and hotel is all sorted am just concerned over our spending money. We want to see all the usual tourist sites and go out for meals, and out for a drink Etc. i was just wondering how much would I need per day?

id bring atleast 500/600 dollars...also out USD will be less there...so keep that in mind...my cousin just left to Italy yesterday.....from 1600 USD he got back only 1000....sucks....depends what u do as well...i think the biggest expense is food

It depends if you want to do shopping as well and how many of the tourist sites you intend to visit. I spent 6 days in Rome in November last year and allowed myself around 100 Euros per day, to be safe.

If you have the luxury of taking more than you need, I'd do that. Otherwise it really depends - you could get by with 50 Euros per day if you really budgeted and ate very very cheaply, but tourist attractions and food tend to really add up.

Sorry my answer is not quite a definite answer! Also the amounts that I've given are for 2 people as when I was there I was paying for myself and my boyfriend.

Morning!!!!!! I live in Italy! not near Rome but I visited the city many time..Per 4 giorni a roma prendete su minimo €250 a testa..Poi dipende da cosa volete fare là! Se fate shopping ecc..

-Se mangiate fuori spendete per una pizza circa €20 a testa.
-a cocktail €8
-caffè+brioches €2,50
-poi dipende per i vestiti cè una vasta scelta di negozi a tutti i prezzi..

4 to 6 hundred Euros to be safe. The later is about £600 GBP
