Hotel Garbi & Spa in Ibiza?

Me and my best friend are thinking of going here for a holiday in July 2010. I checked the prices and they seem reasonable, it also seems like a lovely hotel and got great reviews. One thing I'm wondering though is what type of crowd stays there? A young lovely one? Families? What? It was in the top ten of party hotels in Ibiza but I'm still not sure.. We're definately looking to stay somewhere with a mainly younger crowd, people in their twenties. Can anyone help with this?

    Hi there,

I have never stayed at the hotel you have mentioned. However, I did get back Ibiza 6 days ago and our hotel was amazing. It had an amazing atmosphere with 80% of the hotel guests being under 25.

The hotel I stayed at was in San Antonio Bay called ''Aparthotel Bahia'' we booked through First Choice and went with ''Freestyle'' aka 2wentys. Absolutely fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Perhaps you could check it out? The hotel is 4star and has beautiful surroundings even though it is a 5 minutes walk from the West End.

Hello, Looks like a good choice to me! Right on the beach in Playa den Bossa, a stone throw from Bora Bora beach bar and a minute or so stroll to Space nightclub.
Ive never stayed in that hotel but one very close. Not sure about families but your right on the beach. Stroll down to one of the many beach bars and theres plenty young people.
If you want an Ibiza experience i wouldnt recommend San An Bay. Its out the way a bit and more family orientated. There may be 2wentys hotels but i'd rather stay in Garbi any day!!!!!
Your on the other side of the island from the West End in San an town but 90% of people will tell you thats a good thing! you can get that rabble any resort, Ibiza has so much more to offer.
You will have to travel to san an for the famous sun sets tho, well worth doing that!
Playa den bossa is a lot more expensive than san an however. Drinks in bars are between 9-12 euros. San an is more like 4-6.
Apart from beach bars, especially bora bora, other bars in playa dont live up to much. Just a few tables and chairs under a terrace on the main road charging 9euro a drink. But Ibiza town is close by and so is Space - Pacha - El Divino. Amnesia and Priviledge are the same distance from playa as they are from san. The only clubs in San an are Eden and Es Paradis (not missing much there with Space/Pacha on your side)
I could talk all day, but hope this helps.
