Help for late arrivals in Venice?

I am arriving in Venice Treviso at 22.00pm on Friday 27 November and then getting the late bus into Piazzale Roma. Can anyone advise me if I will have trouble finding a hotel / hostel that will allow me to check in at such a late time, also if anyone has any advice on getting taxis at this time of night and the cost. If your hotel is in Venice itself a taxi isn't going to help you once you get there. The only places that cars can go is Piazzale Roma or on the Lido island. To get around the city, you can walk, take a water taxi (very expensive), or take the vaporetto (water bus). There's a trip planner for the vaporetto here: http://www.actv.it/english/home.php . There are night boats available, but obviously the schedule is somewhat reduced from the day time. You can also find schedules for land buses that circulate to the surrounding areas elsewhere on the site.

You won't have any trouble finding places where you can check in late. When you book the hotel, notify them of your expected arrival time. I've done the same thing on occassion and have never had any problem.

You should not have a problem for the hotel if you book in advance, and ask for a late arrival guaranteed. FINDING an hotel at that time would be troublesome.
You can also book a taxi at this site: http://www.veneziataxi.it/ (working 24 h a day). Another option would be to ask the hotel to organise the pick up at Piazza Roma. Verify if it is a chaper option than the taxi.
I would not arrive at Venice without having booked my hotel in advance, especially at night.

Ciao, I'm italian. I can't understand what "Venice Treviso" means... do you arrive at Treviso airport? It's not in Venice...
However, I could have problems with check in... ask before! I can halp you, if you want.
As for taxi, depends on which city you have to reach: Treviso or Venice?
