Friendly and cheap rustic hotels/B&Bs/hostels in Brussels?

Question

My boyfriend and are travelling to Luxembourg for NYE and we will be staying with friends once we get there. After NYE celebrations we are planning on staying in Brussels for a night or two before we get the eurostar home. Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced and friendly hotel, bed and breakfast or hostel with character in a central location?
