I know it takes 3-10 days for cannabis/marijuana to leave someone's system. Has it left mine? Info provided.?

Hi,

I'm supposed to go for a medical screening on Monday to take part in a medical trial and they ask whether we've taken any recreational drugs in the last 6 weeks prior to the test. I've read everywhere that cannabis only stays in your system a week or so. Based on my info, can anyone who knows a little about this kind of thing give me their verdict on whether I'll pass or not? Also, people's own experiences welcomed too!

Cannabis smoked: Couple of tokes Tuesday night, half a joint Wednesday. Previous to this there's a 6 week period where I've been smoking half a hash joint pretty much every night, but I hadn't smoked any on Sunday or Monday previous.

Weight: 61 kg (9 stone 8 pounds, or 134 lbs)

Height: 165cm (5'5")

BMI: 22.4

If I exercise loads and drink a gallon of water a day, will I pass? And is there anything special I can eat (I've heard citrus can affect these results) to speed up the process?

Thank you!

Marijuana can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to get out of your system. The 3-4 day rule applies to drugs like cocaine, ecstacy, ....chemical stuff. Unlike other drugs, THC is stored in the fat cells so it takes longer to be eliminated from the body. If you've only waited a few days, you will fail the drug screening. sorry buddy.
