Hotels in Koh Samui, Thailand?

Hi guys,
Partner and I want to go to Koh Samui in Thailand for Honeymoon and have about £2000 to spend for a week. Any ideas on nice Beach front hotels?

Koh Samui

Accommodation on Koh Samui, there is a huge choice of accommodation available on Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut, Maename, nearly all of it on the beach. Most hotels and bungalow areas are still quiet and peaceful at night but be sure to situate yourself away from the nightlife action if you don't want to be kept up late by loud, amplified music or have ligering laughter interfere with an early snooze.

There are many beach hotels in koh samui. But for honeymoon, I recommend you to Bang Rak beach.

"Rak" in Thai is mean "Love". :)

Koh Samui is a very nice place for a honey-moon.
If you have £2000 to spend excluding the flight tickets you are ok because the cost of life there is very cheap.

I suggest you the "Imprial Samui Hotel" that is right in front of the beach.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Can't really answer your question but saw Koh Samui and got a flash back.... I was there 30 years ago when there weren't ANY hotels, on the beaches at least... and 2000 quid was my budget for two people for a whole year of travelling in SE Asia...must have changed some ?
But at the time iKS was a real Paradise... stayed there 6 months.

Stay on Koh Phangan, Samui's little sister, and spend half the money and be annoyed by half the tourists.

It's a fifteen minute ferry ride, and there are loads of beautiful, inexpensive bungalows all along the island's coasts.
