Are there any way that I can go into the rainforests of Madagascar without the aid of a guide?

I'd like to explore Madagascar myself...

i wouldn't recommend it you don't know the area. it would be better if you took someone who knew what they were doing.
you have to consider a lot of things if you go on your own like for instance if you got injured who would try and call for help or assist you.

good luck if you go

Pretty stupid notion. You would not know the dangers that are obviously there.

You could visit parts, but for multiple reasons you would not want to go without a tour guide to other areas.

Pick up a good guidebook, and decide which areas you can visit solo before you go. Also, hiring a private guide is a nice way to avoid groups of tourists in khaki shorts and hawaiian shirts.

I visited India three times solo, and then went to Central America with my family, including my four year old. I avoided all tours as well, but books and web sites made that possible.
