Must see sights of Europe?

Question

We are driving from the Uk to Greece via Belgium, Germany, Austria Some of Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Greece.

What are the must see sights that we have to visit on the way. We are going to pick 6 targets for on the way and would love your suggestions

1) (a short visit to Prague?!?)
2) Rome (the problem is, that Rome is not really on your route...)
3) Venice
4) Athens
5) I havent been to the former Yugoslavia for a very long time (since the war), but everybody says, that some cities are wonderful...

PS - I recommend to make 2 routes: one on the way to Greece, and one back.. So you can spend your time better.. :-)

Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina
its beautiful, AMAZING sights, great "old town", superb night life.
definitely visit it, youll have a great time.

Absolutely agree with Bruges and Venice. Florence is also special. Dubrovnik is the other obvious choice. Try to see some of the Greek islands - most of the bigger ones have ferries from the mainland - you'll be absolutely spoilt for choice.

Belgium - Bruges is nice and Brussels in the centre grand Place....try the waffles ther nice. See the Greek islands amazing. Austria Vienna and the lake too. Havent seen de other places sry

In Italy, you could go to Venice for a day, that is not too far out of your way.
