Where can you walk to from Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista?

Hello,
My husband and I are staying at the Comfort Inn LBV, and I'd like to know what nears by, and what you can walk to as we are not hiring a car. I can see on the map there are quite a few shopping outlets, are they easy walking distance? I am also looking to get the shuttle to Busch Gardens, and I can see it picks up from the Orlando Premium Shopping Outlets, which is behind the hotel, but there seems to be a humongous road, how do you get over it? Any Shops, Restaurants, anything you know the walking distance too, would be really helpful. Thank you very much.

When you look on a map and can see somewhere in what looks like walking distance it does not necessarily mean that you can walk there !

For instance your hotel looks on the map like it is just across the road from the premium outlets but you would have to climb over a wall and cross 10 lanes of traffic going 80mph...

.Which is why the previous answers recommend a car and so do I.

If you are worried about the cost of a car - you will probably end up spending that money on taxis and shuttle buses. If you are worried about navigating then get a satnav. If you can drive on British roads you can drive in Florida.

If you can't get a car though you still have options. There will be a few restaurants near your hotel that you can get to at LBV. It's not far in a taxi to Downtown Disney if you can't be doing with the hotel shuttle and then you can pick up the disney transport from there.

I don't know whether there is a sidewalk on Palm Parkway but if there is you might be able to walk to quite a few restaurants depending on how hot it is.

You can get to the Lake Buena Vista outlets on the 535 by taxi or they will come and pick you up. Not as big as the Premium outlets but still some good shopping

Have a great time

You are in walking distance to alot of restaurants and a few shops and a 1/2 mile to the entrance to Downtown Disney but that's about it. The Premium Shopping Outlet is way too far to walk so you'll need a taxi to get there. I'd say you would be better off renting a car because after you've paid a taxi to get around, you'd have paid for a weeks' rental. Taxis are not cheap here. The shops that you are close to are not the type, i'm sure, that you are looking for. You'll be fine for restaurants, though, as you have a variety close by.

My best advice is to rent a car.

I've actually stayed there several years ago. One bit of advice. We took their free shuttle to the parks and it took a l-o-n-g time to get to the parks. Many hotel shuttle services stop at several other hotels to pick up additional guests. If you're not the first stop, you may not get a seat. Plus, when they came and picked us up at night, it was another long wait and we had to stand and wait in the middle of the parking lot! They didn't add more buses, so some people had to wait for the next pick up time which was another hour wait!
There are ways of getting a good deal on a rent a car...
This is a direct link to discount codes for Alamo, but she also lists other company's discount codes.
