Obviously we can get on the sidelines and talk about what we would do. I just don't know what I would do but I believe I would go to the Headmaster first and hold a meeting with the boys' parents. If I get no satisfaction I would go to the police. All the police would do is to warn them. If they still continue I would go to them and tell them in no uncertain terms to lef my child alone or I would come for them and giv them 2 hard slaps round the heads.

That father was real patient in taking the child out of primary school and re-enrolling him in a private school. he did not take matters into his own hands and that is commendable. Some people tend to judge people with locks (Rastas) and judge them the wrong way. This one is far different and it shows in that he went the right route. I am wondering if he had retaliated if this would still occur. I believe so because he is resting now in the arms of Jesus. This is really sad!

EDIT: We should not take the law into our own hands.

It is a really sad thing, and truth be told it can be hard to clamp down on it because some students get bullied and are embarresed or afraid to talk about it and I think that this incidnet that has taken place should raise awareness.
I have never been bullied but I can only imagine how it must feel, sometimes people get picked on for no apparent reason and I think it needs to be stopped but I feel it will take alot of work if It can actually be done.

i really think that is a sad story. which school did it happen at a primary or secondary school? and as all of you said before i think they should really do something about this bullying situation because is very hard to loose a son or daughter just because some child was bullying them or what not. i heard a story that came over the news in america that a 10 year old boy hung himself in his bedroom over the fan because these kids won't leave him alone and they kept bullying him all the blasted time. i truly think it is heart-breaking to loose someone like that especially a child that has suffered alot from bullying.
