She cant get any justice if she refuses to make a complaint or name her 'attacker'.
She is and has been a role model, rightly or wrongly, for thousands of young girls. What message is this sending out to them?

If she is not willing to take this any further, she should shut up about it. I think that she is sending out the wrong message to anybody who has been raped. No wonder the authorities tend to give "alleged" rape victims a hard time. The way that she is going about it, is like bragging, just to gain public support and tabloid cash. I understand that she is a very shrewd businesswoman, but this is just not on!! If she had really been raped, which I doubt very much, it would be the most horrendous thing to happen to her and she would certainly not want all and sundry to know about it!!

It seems far fetched that anyone who has been through the trauma of being raped would wish the same thing on someone else.

As I have said before, many victims do not go to the police because they feel ashamed or that they will not be believed. If you don't go to the police you are hardly likely to want to have this splashed all over the papers.

Faith - she isn't looking for justice, she is looking for money and fame. There are many women (and men) who go through the trauma of rape and sexual assualt and stories like this one make it harder for them to think that anyone will believe them.

And my reasons for not believing her are nothing to do with her job or how many sexual partners she may or may not have had or how little clothes she wears, and all to do with the fact that she would rather sell her story about her 'ordeal' than go to the police

i don't know much about this case, but i've heard that most rape victims who keep quiet about it are scared. Sometimes the rapist may have some kind of hold over them. He may have friends in high places. Sometimes, its just not black & white...she may be scared that she will be blamed. i hope the truth will prevail here.

Edit: Steph, i'm thinking she only brought it up now for 2 reasons: 1) i read that her new beau featured in some sleazy film that glorified rape...in trying to defend him, she brought it up. 2) With all the horrible media mud slinging between her husband & her, shes using this for some sympathy.
Either ways, regardless of the fight between her & her husband, regardless of her promiscuous past, regardless of her reputation, IF she did say "NO" and was raped...i hope the truth will prevail & she will get justice.

I just don't like the way she acts, she wears very revealing clothes to entice men, she has slept with loads of men, she does topless modelling and acts quite slutty.
On top of all this she has a real big mouth and loves to be in the limelight, so I really have no idea if she's making this up....if she is, she should go to jail if she ever mentions a mans name.
Acting responsibly is something she greatly lacks, this will be seen as a big problem in court if what she says is true

Wearing reveling clothes entices men, this gets men going and some men take that as a green light. With that and the way she acts, this is a big problem. She needs to understand how a mans brain works, so should any woman who wears revealing clothes, they all put themselves at risk....its called acting responsibly. Why do you think woman in the past covered up?

Raped more than once by a personality/celebrity? Laugh! She's not daft, just stupid! I see the Police have contacted her but she doesn't want to be interviewed now or at a future date - it's attention seeking. If a man had raped you once would you be anywhere near him to enable him to rape you again ? Katie Price is manipulative and more than capable of getting just what she wants. Seems to be similar to the ulrika johnson case, if it is date rape it is extremely hard to prove, im sure it won't be long before it all unfolds in the press.
If nothing else she has always struck me as an honest person, so unless she has completely lost the plot, im inclined to think she has no reason to lie.

I just think of the damage she is doing in two ways. The police or always saying they will investigate any complaint and she is not giving them the chance too. Then she is doing what every woman's group says women should Rape crisis centres deal with lots of boys and girls of all ages and she is really not helping anyone by saying she was raped and not giving a statement.

IF she was raped then she wouldn't be the first woman not to go to the police but if she found it that hard to go to them why is it so easy for her to shout her mouth off about it to the press? She is playing a very clever cloak and dagger game, giving away just enough to get people talking and keep herself in the public eye - all well and good but NOT when you are dealing with the subject of rape. Well, I do agree they should be severely punished. I support locking them away for life. I oppose the death penalty absolutely. I wont believe her story until she comes clean and tells the truth. Either she presses charges as she should and supports her beliefs about rapists or she admits it was a publicity stunt and she was really never raped.
