Help booking our first holiday please! Egypt All-Inclusive, money-off and help finding good deal wanted?

Hi There

My girlfriend and I are looking to book our 1st major holiday together for September 2010, we would like to be away for 2 weeks, 5 star all-inclusive from around the 10th so we can celebrate both of our birthdays there. We can fly from pretty much anywhere but would rather fly from manchester, liverpool, newcastle, the north really, but London airports are not too much trouble.

We are just starting to look into resorts and hotels but wondered if anybody can offer advice on nice hotels/resorts theyve stayed in, or if anybody knows of any good deals around with travel companies at the moment with any money off? Money is really tight (as I am sure it is for everyone) but we would like to spend around £800 each if this is possible but would be willing to pay more for real luxury hotels.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer us!

you have 2 weeks , so you can go to Cairo for sightseeing then Sharm for a vacation.
in Cairo , try to make your reservation in Movenpick Pyramids , or any hotel close to the Pyramids to save yourselves spending time across the city .
in Sharm , make your resevation in Movenpick Beach Resort .
it is beautiful and not too expensive .

if you get your reservations and tickets through a travel agent , this would save a lot of money and time.
    good luck

You didn't say what part of Egypt you want to visit. I can only comment on Sharm el Sheikh which is beautiful, calm and relaxed. You will have a fun time there. You can also book trips to visit Cairo and Luxor if you want from the hotel holiday rep. I went with Red Sea Holidays ( booked with lastminute.com). I can't fault the service. Just check out the hotel reviews to see if its what you are after.

Oh I remember when I was looking- Hurghada 'Oberoi Shal Hasheesh' 5 star hotel looks stunning. Though reviews said not much on your door step, so it depends on what your after and if u don't mind taxis and travelling.
