i had my first one today! it seriously honestly DOESN'T HURT. I saw the needle, it was so thin that you barely even felt it, if you even do. Most people said they couldn't feel it at all. Your arm does ache and feel weak and heavy tho afterwards. I hope this helps. :)

I had the first round of shots oh...I dunno...awhile ago. It felt like any other kind of shot to me.

i had all 3 last year.
they didnt really hurt too bad.
all three were differnt. one ur arm hurt from the needle, like at the site,
one made ur arm feel heavy and weak, and another was kinda a combination, heavy arm and stinging.
but id take that over cervical cancer anyday.

I am going to be honest with you and say that you will not know how much it hurts you until you get it done. Everybody has different pain thresh-holds and reacts differently to injections. I personally felt it no more than I would a pinch but I have got used to injections after a long stay in hospital where I had about 8 injections a day. To be honest it might hurt a bit and it feels like someone has punched your arm after wards but would you rather a few seconds of pain now or months of IV chemo? The choice is unbelievably simple and it hurts a lot less than most injections. Don't worry about it and be happy that one simple little jab (well 3) could save your life.

Not much to be honest. When they say to you 'sharp scratch' that's really all it is. They say your arm can ache for a while afterwards, you can have headaches etc, but I didn't experience any of this. It was fine, really.

I'm not going to lie to you buddy it really hurts!

but the pain goes after like a day or so. Its more of a muscle ache :P

I was one of the first people to have it done; had it last year while i was in year 8. You have 3 of them spread over 6 months.

The first hurts the most and the second hurts then least!

Just DON'T hit anyones arm in the spot where they had the jab, it makes you whole arm go to sleep its hilarious but pain-full!!

it doesn't really hurt your arm gets stiff and slightly sore a hour after though

If it's the jab I'm thinking of, I had mine in March just after my 15th.
Personally mine didn't hurt too much but it is different for everyone.

It's the only shot that actually really hurt me. I couldn't lift my arm for the next three days. It was horrible. I got 2 of them done last year, and I am suppose to be getting my 3rd one next month. When the needle goes in, you feel the liquid going all through your arm. It doesn't sound that bad, but it's a painful feeling. It feels really heavy, and it's hard to lift.

There are a lot of side effects for this shot too.
My friends sister had a seizure after she got her second shot.
And my doctor said that when I get my 3rd shot I have to stay 20 minutes after because a lot of people have been passing out after they get it. I don't think my mom is gonna send me for my 3rd shot because she's scared something might happen.

You probably didn't wanna hear all this negative stuff about the shot.
But hey, I wasn't gonna lie to you.

i just had the 3rd dose on friday. it was ok didnt hurt that bad. arm was sore for like a day

Not unless they **** it up no. (Don't mean to scare you, I just don;t want you thinking I lied to you if indeed it does hurt) But that is very rare I know only of 1 person that has had theirs **** up everyone else was fine! Although it does not hurt when you originally get it there are some side effects SOME people experience and SOME of those MAY hurt, also your arm will ache slightly a little while afterwards.

Mine was done last week. Stings a little at the time. Mine hurt after because I got punched, but that is a different story.

yes it hurts! LOL

but the first one's the worst...i started mine last november or so and finished the course this may....i was so scared for the first and second one but trust me the last one is the best it doesn't even hurt that much

I'm 13 now and I had mine done ages ago
All injections hurt
But the thought that those three jabs can keep you safe from cervical cancer is good to think when you're having it done.
It does hurt and it leaves your arm hurting for a day or two
But it could be life saving

i had mine today, it didn't hurt ATALL when they put it in, just like the smallest scratch ever, but now (i had it at 11) it hurts like mad! i cannot lift my arm or anything. but over all it was fine :)
