Does anyone know how far from Marlborough St Bus Station, Bristol to The Rodney Hotel, Clifton, Bristol?

Is there a bus or would a cab be better?

Cabs are expensive in Bristol, probably because of the dire and expensive public transport system, with First monopolising the bus service; I live 0.6 miles away and a taxi cost around £5/6! You can get buses no. 8 or 9 going towards Clifton for a flat fare, they 'supposedly' run every 8 mins or so, from just past Debenhams, but a bit of a trek at lights at dual carriage road or walk under the horrible underpass. Not sure where the next bus stop is heading towards your destination. You can ask at the coach/bus station.
