Cyprus Holiday Price/Cost?

OrSpell Check Your Text
Language: English (change)

Hi, me and my mate who are going to be 18 next year are thinking about going to Cyprus for a week from the UK in July 2010. We're both at College in Nottingham and it's going to be a task to save up a lot EMA (£30 p/w). And I was wondering on average, how much will it cost for both of us to go to Cyprus, in Ayia Nappa? This includes flights from airport, 3 star hotel price, airport transfers and more.

Any response would be appreciated and if you've ever been to Cyprus please share the prices.

Thanks.

Well....its a bit difficult to put a price on anything like this as prices vary so much, but, you could check out some hotel prices on;

www.olympicholidays.com.

www.libraholidays.co.uk,

These two companies have lots of hotels in the Napa are.

If you're just looking for somewhere basic,have a look for the Takkas Hotel,

This is fairly basic, but has all you would need, and as its based in the top part of Napa, its just a short walk from The Square where most of the clubs and bars are based. I thik you should be able to find this hotel on the Olympic website.

It has to be said, its not cheap here in Cyprus anymore, certainly since we changed to the Euro, ....where we used to be able to buy a pint of Keo for £1.00CYP, it now costs anything up to 2.5 to 3 Euros!, and, with the strength of the Euro against the pound at the moment, you 'll have to take this into consideration.But you should be able to find some bars offering ''happy hours'' etc, and some of the little tavernas tucked away in the side streets are still fairly cheap, you'll ind in some of these places that the food is cheap, they just put the prices on the drinks.....so just have one drink with your meal, then head for the bars! Of course, theres always McDonalds, KFC, and Pizza Hut!

There is a huge waterpark in Napa, but it is quite expensive to get into.....look out for money off vouchers often given away in the hotels, or, if you pick up the Cyprus Mail, they often print money off vouchers in there too! Also....you're not allowed to take your own food into this place....which turns out even more expensive if you have to buy your food in there!!

Anyway...check the websites I've given you, just to give you some idea ofprices, and keep an eye open for the last minute offers they have....you might just find a bargain there!

Itsworth checking at the time of booking to make sure that transfers are included in the price, as taxis to and from the airpot can be quite expensive; 60-70 Euros. Once you get to Napa however, if you want to get about, the buses are quite frequent, and fairly cheap.

I live in Xylofagou, just a short drive from Agia Napa......I'm sure you'll have a great time here! enjoy!

    make sure you book your flight and hotel together for the best savings. there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
