The best times to visit are:
Week after New Year's in Jan through the week before President's Day in Feb.
Week after Thanksgiving in Nov through the week before Christmas in Dec.

Perks to staying on-site:
- Disney’s Magical Express (free transportation to and from the airport)
- Free luggage delivery to your room (bypass baggage claim)
- Extra Magic Hours (select park opens 1 hour early and/or 1 park stays open up to 3 hours later)
- Free Disney transportation to all of the Disney theme parks, running approximately every 10 to 20 minutes
- Purchases made in the park will be delivered to the front desk of your hotel free of charge
- If you establish charging options on your room key you can view all purchases on one bill

The resorts are broken into categories
Value = Pop Century
Deluxe = Wilderness Lodge or Polynesian
Other = Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

I've been to Disney a few times in my life. Stay outside of Disney. Look for a Holiday Inn Express or a regular Holiday Inn or a Hampton Inn.
Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn usually offer breakfast to you.
The regular Holiday Inn's do not offer you breakfast.
I wouldn't go around a holiday or during summer. Summer it is too hot and around holidays people visit a lot. Spring break is a bad time. A lot of kids and college kids and high school kids.
This time of year right now they experience hurricanes in Florida.

Been to Disney 15 times, and going back in 2 weeks.
The best time to go is now through the end of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
Definitely stay at a Disney hotel. Pop Century, Port Orleans, and the All-Star resorts are alot of fun. They take you everywhere and you can forget about driving for a while.

we have been to Disney 3 times and are planning our 4th for Nov. We prefer going in the fall because the weather is cooler and the crowds are better. We usually stay at Pop Century resort, it is one of their value resorts, It is the newest value resort at Disney. We stay on Disney property for the convenience and because for the last 2 trips we received the Free Dining plan, they usually offer in the spring. It saves us a ton on food.

Me and my family leave in 5 days for our 2nd Disney World vacation! We are staying at the All Star Movie Resort (one of their value resorts) Last time we stayed at The All Star Music Resort (also a value resort) The value resorts are great If you are looking for a nice pool, decent food and a nice room. Which seriously how long are you actually in your room. If you are into Bells and whistles then you may want to book one of their higher scale resorts such as the port orleans, animal Kingdom lodge (where they have the animals outside your window) or the saratoga springs resort and spa. Bottom line though is stay on disney property for the best deal. The service is great. You can arrive and park your car with out having to drive again until you leave b/c they have buses to take you everywhere for free and if you fly they will pick you up at the airport FREE! Also keep your eye out for disney promotions for example we got the disney free dining promo plus we are going the wk of my 2 sons birthday as well as my husbands so they each are going to receive a gift card for the amount of a park ticket. They also have book 4 nights get 3 free. You can go to www.mousesavers.com and sign up for their monthly email of all disney promotions. Some of which are exclusive to mousesavers. And lastly go durning the school year except for around holidays such as thanksgiving, christmas and new years. Good Luck I hope I helped!
