What is the size and speed rating of the tyre. It will be on the side wall and will be similar to this -
195/65 16 84W
All of that is important if you want a price but a tyre seller like kwik Fit will do a price on the phone if you give them that info.
If it is one tyre you might want to use the same brand and model as what is already on the other three.
You vehicle may have different wheel and tyre options so the one on your car is the one you need to get the specification of.

It was £180 - very expensive!!

Whatever size it is you can find tyres a lot cheaper than that quoted on the kwik fit website. They charge for everything X amount for tyre, + fitting + valve + balancing PLUS a percentage for disposing of the old carcase which would go for remoulding. Shop around for the best bargains
