Hotels with a good location in alicante, spain!!?

Question

I'm trying to book a holiday to Alicante for september! I want a hotel with a swimming pool walking distance from a good beach, shops, restaurants and bars and it must be close enough to alicante airport (max 20km's away)! I don't care a about the rating it has, but it would have to be generally good and also cheap! Any suggestions???

Check out the Hotel Hesperia....click on the virtual tour to see exactly what it's like. Also under 'Features', they're offering a daily complimentary minibar! A standard room is from € 69.95 (obviously depending on dates) so for a pool, good location and beside shopping etc, that's pretty good. Also it says that the Airport is about 20 minutes (read 40 minutes by public transport) from the hotel.
Enter the address into google maps to see how near it is to the beach.

Edit: Prices usually drop after the 15th September...it goes from high season to mid season.

Alicante is the airport, for holidays to Benidorm and the Costa Blanca

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
